To be able to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us daily. The sunrises and sunsets. The roar of the ocean, the feel of a gentle rain on your skin. To see a bolt of lightening and hear the thunder during a storm. Watch the changes of the seasons from the birth of spring to the cold barren of winter with blankets of snow.

What I Am Thankful For

My husband who provides strength and security. Allows me to grow and meet new challenges. My Family, Friends, my home, and health. Of course Sheba my faithful friend who tolerates my many moods.
Living in a free country that would not be possible without our men and women in the military. Their dedication and sacrifice make it possible for us to have our freedoms.

Journey

Life is a journey which is best not taken alone. Some journeys are longer than others, during this time we need to make the most of what is offered. We live way too fast taking no time to see the beauty around us. No time to smell the roses, or enjoy the little things in life. Someday we will realize they were the big things in life. We can't look back on what might have been or what I should have done. We only get one chance, therefore need to learn to live, not let life pass us by. There are many roads to travel along this journey, which path do I follow at the fork in the road. The road less traveled or one frequently traveled. This is one of the many decisions you will have to make in a lifetime. None of us know with certainty if we took the right road. There will also be many mistakes made along this journey, hopefully we will learn and grow from them. We all need to cherish our time here, live life to the fullest. Live for today and tomorrow for yesterday is history and can not be changed.

Time

Something we never have enough of. If we could all go back in time what would we change or do differently. Spend more time with family, especially the children. They grow so quickly and time spent with them is precious. This time is the building blocks of the future, what kind of person will they be. Time spent seeing, hearing, and touching the beauty around us. These are the minutes, hour, days that leave lasting memories. As we age time seems shorter, the months and years fly by. Our memories of time past are what we hold on to.
